Experience
the magic of the Tanamá River as
it snakes through limestone hills and caverns in the Karst region
of Puerto Rico. On this adventure you will explore the very heart
of the island of Puerto Rico, an enchanting and awe-inspiring river
valley unknown to most modern Puerto Ricans.
The Tanamá River Adventure takes you through cultivated lands
and into a beautiful lush forest down to the river valley. We’ll
use the river as our trail, enjoying the cool tropical water as we
hike and wade our way between the limestone hills, exploring dramatic
arched cave formations and admiring nature’s power in carving
this dramatic valley. Before heading to lunch, we’ll embark
on a hike up and then through limestone hills. We will traverse the hill through
a cave tunnel, complete with impressive stalactite and stalagmite
formations.
Lunch on the Organic Tanamá adventure is a true privilege. We will join the Pérez family in their self-sustained, solar-powered home and eat a fresh-cooked, organic, vegetarian meal featuring food grown right there on the land we’ve been exploring. Even the most die-hard meat-eaters rave about the food at Jorge and Denisse’s house (see our testimonials), and lunch with Acampa is always served buffet-style so you can serve yourself as much or as little as you want. You will not leave this lunch hungry, that’s for sure.
After
lunch, we’ll get our hearts pumping pure adrenaline as we zip
line through and out of the farm "El Batey del Cemí".
Our zip lines cross over the farm and across the river for a total
of at least 5 rides and over 1,500 ft. of cable. At the end of the
day you will have a chance for a refreshing swim in the river.
2) SAN SALVADOR RAINFOREST ZIPLINING & RAPPELLING Full day $139.00 pp*, moderate-challenging.

Escape the crowds of the mainland and get ready to get wet in this hidden treasure that is just 40 minutes away from the metro area. We'll explore, trek and climb through cascading clear waterfalls and abundant prismatically colored flora and rocks found in the San Salvador rainforest, located in the beautiful mountains of Caguas. We are the only ecotourism company allowed in this rainforest, making it immaculately clean and secluded. Our knowledgeable tour guides will enlighten us on the ecology, history and culture of this dramatic region that was once populated by Taino indians. This exciting experience includes two ziplines installed with double cable for extra security, one of 100 ft. and the second one of 400 ft. long, that cross stunning canyons, rivers and through the trees. Rappelling into a 80 ft. long waterfall, belaying over rocks and staircasing up the river add to this trip's appeal. At the end of the adventure you will enjoy a delicious puertorrican meal in a typical countryside setting. Important note: Participants are required to have a good physical condition, weigh 230 lbs or less, and have a waist size of 44 or less. Participants with recent surgeries and/or pregnancies are not permitted in this adventure.

SEVEN SEAS DRY FOREST HIKE &
BIOLUMINESCENT BAY KAYAKING Full
day, $129.00 pp*, moderate.
Includes transportation, snacks and lunch.
Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon and night of
fun. We start off hiking through Seven Seas Natural Reserve which includes
one of Puerto Rico's pristine beaches complete with boulders, cliffs
and lava formations. Here you will see a variety of birds and sights
of unequal color and splendor. You can select between a relaxing walk
through the amazing red mangrove trail which takes us to the breathtaking
Convento and Red Beaches. We will enjoy an exciting adventure hiking
towards an amazing
nature's magical pool while you appreciate the view of Fajardo's lighthouse.
After a nutritious snack we will paddle at night to see one of nature's
amazing wonders, the Bioluminescent Bay. Feel free to jump in and watch
yourself glow as you swim among the fluorescent plankton. This is an
amazing experience!
In
the Seven Seas excursion, you can also choose to trek through the ecologically
valuable coastline of the northeastern region of Fajardo.

HUMACAO NATURE ADVENTURE Full

Discover one of Puerto Rico's untouched natural treasures.
We begin our day with a relaxing walk through an old coconut and sugar
cane plantation dating back to the 19th century. Our walk takes us through
the beautiful sights and sounds of the many species of beautiful birds,
harmless reptiles and bountiful fish. Along the way you will be astounded
by the breathtaking views of the pristine sandy beaches and the nearby
islands. Here is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet
creating a spectacular view. We will also hike through bunkers and barracks
dating back to World War II. After a light lunch our tour continues
paddling
in kayaks through an amazing white mangrove in the lagoon
which used to be an ancient sugar cane field. In this unforgettable
kayak trip you will admire the views of El Yunque Rainforest and the
wide variety of flora and fauna that make this natural reserve unique.
This
adventure is a naturalists must do.
